Raita is a yoghurt based condiment that originates from the subcontinent. Its cooling yet tasty qualities make it an ideal condiment with spicy biryani and curries. Cucumbers or gourds are added to Raita to provide an extra crunch. Laziza Chutney/Raita masala is a spice mix that also makes great chutney.
