Moong dall chilka is green gram that has been dried and split with the husk still on. Moong daal chilka are widely used in Indian cuisine. They are a great ingredient in curries but are equally good in fritters and bhajis. Moong chilka are also used in dishes such as Vada, dosa and rasam.
